EU-ERDF project: Development of a ceramic pressure sensor

SMM, Maribor is cooperating with company Keko Equipment, Žužemberk at developing innovative technological solution at project named »Development of a ceramic pressure sensor and machines for production of sensors according to LTCC technology. « SMM is developing programme package that as a tool for KEKO that will enable to visualize the production process going on the machine in accordance with Industry 4.0

Additionally, KEKO intends to develop machines for the automated production of ceramic pressure sensors, which will enable mass production of them with the aim of making the production as cheaper and use as massive as possible, which will strengthen their competitiveness in the global market.
On the project at the development of the programme also cooperates Centre of Excellence NAMASTE, Ljubljana.
The value of the project is estimated at 1,035,000 EUR. The investment is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund, while the value of the co-financing of the Republic of Slovenia and the EU totals 362,000 EUR.
